The Hope Hustle

(our version of the popular Grouse Grind)

is a race up the Hope Lookout Trail, to determine who get crowned as King and Queen of Mount Hope. The race begins at the base of the mountain, climbing 445 metres (1,469 ft.) over 1.7 km. to the lookout bench, where the view of our lovely town is breathtaking ..... literally!

Entry fee is $15 per person (includes a Brigade Days Button). Fruit and water provided.

The Briggie Button is your ticket to FUN, as it provides access to all the events at the 6th Avenue Park and Sportsbowl during Brigade Days weekend.

From 6:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, these buttons must be worn by teenagers and older on the fairgrounds - as always the young'uns aged 12 and under are FREE.

Starting at July 1, buttons go on pre-sale at stores displaying the

sign at the discounted price of only $7.00!! But only till 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 11th. Thereafter and throughout the weekend, Buttons will be available only from a few "designated vendors" (like the Keystone Cops) and at the gates at the full price of $10.00.
